Fulfill a Dream in honor of Jill Ann Sellers

The family of Jill wrote the following:

"On Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 6:44 p.m., we lost our precious Jill Ann.  Our lives are so much better for having been blessed by her.  She has left a canyon sized hole in our hearts and our souls.  Yet she is no longer in pain, no longer using every ounce of strength to stand, to walk, to talk.  There is a close friend Jill met through her first diagnosis who was also recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.  Through the  Dreams 4 Metas program, she wants to take her children on a Disney Cruise.  It hit me today like a ton of bricks that our sweet Jill Ann would want her friend to be able to fulfill this dream.

Therefore, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honor of Jill Ann Sellers.  All money donated will go to Jill's sweet friend who has been so supportive of my family throughout this gut-wrenching ordeal.  Her friend is a fellow warrior and breast cancer survivor, and I believe with all of my hear that Jill would love the opportunity to help this family."

Dreams 4 Metas was started with the idea of helping Stage IV breast cancer survivors to have a dream and be able to accomplish it. Some may want to travel to a place they never went, others may want to try that restaurant that all talked about, while others may want to finally have that special comfy chair to enjoy while reading and listening to music. Whatever the dream, In the Middle will help it become a reality.

Metastatic breast cancer, also called stage 4 or advanced breast cancer, is the most advanced stage of breast cancer. It occurs when breast cancer has spread beyond the breast to other organs in the body. It’s estimated that at least 154,000 people in the U.S. have metastatic breast cancer and arises months or years after a person has completed treatment for early or locally advanced breast cancer.
